Sales and Sales Operations Intern

Note: We are looking for intern candidates who can start work asap

We are a small economics research firm founded in 1998 located in Barcelona, Spain. We are a team of 30 people from all over the world. The Sales Intern supports the Sales Departments in day-to-day activities. We see this position as a starting point on a path toward a career in the company, so ideally candidates should be in the last year of university. 

Responsibilities 

  • Find prospect accounts and contacts based on ideal client profile 
  • Build target account list 
  • Reach out to key contacts via social media and e-mail and engage decision makers using sample research and marketing assets 
  • Work with Salesforce.com to update prospect and deal data
  • Identify social media groups and forums and participate in the debate to increase brand exposure
  • Track success of different approaches via CRM reports and report back 
  • Develop ideas to improve the different ways in which sales reaches out to prospects

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English; other languages are a plus
  • Commercially focused with the ability to identify business opportunities based on target criteria
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM a plus
