Partnership Manager

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to support us in our day-to-day communication with those partner organizations.

The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and direction of FocusEconomics’ communication with partner organizations. The position will establish, maintain and foster extensive, positive and long-lasting relationships with our network of analysts to ensure we receive all forecasts in a timely and convenient data delivery format. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy interacting with an international multilingual audience, and have a passion for macroeconomics, we’d like to hear from you. The role reports to the Production Unit Team Lead and is part of our Data Team. This is a half-time position (20h per week) with flexible working hours.


  • Manage all communication flow between FocusEconomics and partner organizations (send weekly surveys and reminders, request permissions to quote their research, validate forecasts, attend data requests, etc.)
  • Identify communication needs and goals to improve relations with partner organizations
  • Conduct and arrange interviews with analysts
  • Maintain and update the Salesforce database with partner information and attend to all requests regarding the distribution list
  • Work with Sales Operations and Salesforce consultants to continuously improve the database
  • In coordination with the research team, elaborate a strategy to increase the number of partner organizations in certain countries/regions
  • Actively seek out potential new partners and initiate dialogue with them
  • Accompany new partners in the on-boarding process
  • Lead and promote the annual Analyst Forecast Awards project
  • Take active part in the Daily Updates project
  • Carry out satisfaction surveys and assist partners in their requests


  • BA in Business, Economics, International Relations, Communications or related
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish; other languages are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Previous work experience managing external communications
  • Ability to communicate with, present to and influence executives and C-level managers
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Previous experience with Salesforce is desirable
  • Previous experience with online forms (Typeform, Google Forms, Dropbox forms, etc.) is desirable
  • Attention to detail, solution-oriented, disciplined and autonomous personality
