A month-on-month comparison corroborates the positive result suggested by the annual figures, as economic activity expanded a seasonally adjusted 0.15% over the previous month, which contrasted the 0.28% drop recorded in July. Moreover, the trend continues to point up, as the annual average growth reached 6.0% in August, which almost doubled the 3.2% growth recorded in July.
