Inflation rises strongly in March

In March, consumer prices rose 1.5% over the previous month, which followed the 0.6% rise tallied in February and marked, in fact, the largest monthly gain since the start of the series in 2005. According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the increase reflected higher prices for clothing and footwear as well as for transport and housing.
