Mexico
Outlook slowly improving
The outlook continues to improve progressively, as economic activity is slowly coming out of the worst slump in decades. That said, economic growth is likely to remain modest this year amid low consumer confidence levels as well as a sharp decline in remittances from Mexicans working abroad. Meanwhile, although inflation remains moderate, price pressures are likely to pick up in the coming months as the tax hikes recently implemented start to take effect.Mexico:
