Outlook improves despite consequences of Haiti's earthquake

Panellists revised their outlook for growth this year up based on strong growth experienced by the country in the third quarter. That said, the economy will likely be affected by the effects of the earthquake which devastated neighbouring Haiti. In particular, Dominican authorities fear the consequences of massive immigration from the bordering country.
