Turkey
IMF deal appears to be imminent
Growth prospects continue to improve steadily, as the economy is emerging from the worst slump in decades. Following on Fitch's upgrade in December, international rating agency Moody's recently lifted the country's credit rating due to the resilience shown during the global financial crisis. With the long-awaited agreement with the IMF likely to be inked soon, the country will benefit from improving capital market conditions, which should help propel growth in the years ahead.Turkey:
