Economy continues to accelerate

Data from the fourth quarter confirmed the notion that the economy is solidly set on a path to recovery. Similarly, recent trade figures indicate that the economy has seen the trough of the recession, as exports registered their highest annual increase in four years. Against this backdrop, economic growth is expected to bounce back to pre-crises levels this year. Amid a recovery in economic activity, inflation is also expected to rise, albeit at a relatively modest pace.
