Outlook continues to improve

After surprising to the upside last year, growth will likely remain resilient despite government and monetary authorities' efforts to slow the pace of expansion in certain sectors to prevent the formation of asset bubbles. Owing to the strong pick-up in the domestic sector, the outlook for inflation has started to rise markedly, which will add pressure on monetary authorities to tighten the reins in the coming months.
