FocusEconomics: Economic Forecasts from the World's Leading Economists

Our economists closely follow developments in the countries to provide our readers with a concise and authoritative analysis about the current state of play of the economies.

For economic forecasts, FocusEconomics relies on a network of the world’s leading economists that provide us with their projections on a monthly basis. Each month, we poll the research departments of the leading investment banks, financial institutions and research organizations to obtain their projections for a number of economic indicators.

These projections are condensed into a single publication per region, the FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast, which is also available for individual countries. For each economic indicator, we are showing the individual forecasts as provided by our participating panelists. In addition, we provide the so-called consensus forecast, which is the average of all individual forecasts. The median, standard deviation and the recent history of consensus forecast results complement these numbers, providing the reader with the full scope of tools to evaluate the future development of a country.
