Snapshot

The regional growth outlook for both this year and next continues to deteriorate, dragged mostly by lower growth prospects for Brazil. Projections for Mexico, the region’s second largest economy, also declined from last month.

Regional inflation estimates for this year were unchanged from last month as higher forecasts for Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela offset lower estimates for Argentina and Chile.
