The economy continues to show signs of resilience. According to preliminary estimates announced by the Central Bank Governor Héctor Valdez Albizu, the economy expanded 4.2% in the January-September period compared to the same period last year, which would imply a 4.5% annual growth in the third quarter. If confirmed, the result would mark an acceleration compared to the 3.6% growth recorded in Q2.
