Economic activity expanded a strong 5.7% in September, on the back of resilient domestic demand, which suggests that economic growth remained firm in the third quarter. In October, copper prices rebounded from last’s month drop, leading to a strengthening of the Chilean peso. Meanwhile, the labour market remains stable, with the unemployment rate unchanged at 7.4% in September.
