After surprising positively in December, economic indicators disappointed in January. Non-oil domestic exports decreased 2.1% annually, contrasting the healthy 9.0% expansion recorded in December. There was more bad news in January from manufacturing production, which contracted 8.8% annually, following December’s buoyant 25.2% increase.
