The expansion was mostly driven by continued strength within the manufacturing sector, bolstered by a rise in the production of transport equipment. On a month-on-month basis, industrial production declined a seasonally adjusted 1.3% over the previous month, contrasting the 0.9% increase registered in January. Simultaneously, the trend deteriorated significantly in February, with annual average growth falling to 17.9% from 18.7% recorded in January.
