Panama: Inflation comes in at highest level since November 2021 in March

Consumer prices increased 0.87% over the previous month in March, accelerating from February’s 0.69% increase. March’s uptick was the highest reading since March 2015.

Inflation rose to 3.2% in March from February’s 2.7%. March’s reading marked the highest inflation rate since November 2021. Annual average inflation rose to 2.5% in March (February: 2.3%).
