Serbia: Industrial output growth dips in April
Industrial output grew 0.4% year on year in April (March: +0.9% yoy). Contractions in mining and manufacturing were outweighed by a significant increase in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply during April.
On a monthly basis, industrial production fell 1.2% in seasonally adjusted terms in April, contrasting March’s 1.6% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved significantly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at an over one-year high of minus 1.2% in April, up from March’s minus 3.5% reading.
