In November, industrial production declined a seasonally and working-day adjusted 3.9% over the same month the previous year, which contrasted the 11.8% increase in October (previously reported: +12.1% year-on-year). The reading mainly reflected a notable deterioration in manufacturing output. On a monthly basis, industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 9.5% over the previous month, which contrasted the 6.7% increase recorded in October and confirmed the deterioration observed in the annual figures. Moreover, annual average growth in industrial production dwindled from 5.0% in October to 3.1% in November, confirming an underlying downward trend in industrial output.
