Export growth moderates but remains robust

In March, exports rose 16.1% over the same month to USD 5.7 billion, which was down from the 22.5% expansion recorded in the previous month. Despite the slowdown, exports increased at a double-digit rate for the 19th consecutive month, mainly driven by stronger shipments of fuels and mining products. Meanwhile, imports expanded 19.9% in February
