Belarus: Industrial output records lowest expansion since December 2020 in September
Industrial output increased 2.3% year-on-year in September (August: +3.7% yoy). The outturn marked the worst reading since December 2020. Looking at the details for the month, manufacturing kept slowing down the print, while the mining and the electricity, gas, steam, hot water and conditioning supply were buoyant.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 6.6% in September (August: +6.5%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
