Coffee Price OutlookCoffee prices are still flying high and are getting close to the 150 cents per pound ceiling. Several factors, but primarily dry weather in Brazil and Vietnam, are putting further pressure on poor crop yields and pushing prices up. Coffee traded at USD 148 cents per pound on 9 September, which was 4.6% higher than on the same day of the previous month. The price was up 16.0% on a year-to-date basis and was 23.9% higher than on the same day of last year.
